Overview
About instrument fittings
Instrument fittings connect small-bore tubing to gauges, transmitters, analysers, sampling systems and control valves. A twin-ferrule compression fitting grips the tube as its nut is tightened, making a leak-tight joint without welding, threading or flaring the tube.
The range includes twin-ferrule tube fittings, pipe fittings, compression fittings, hydraulic and pneumatic fittings, quick couplings, and ball, check and needle valves, in tube sizes from 3 to 25 mm metric and 1/16″ to 1″ fractional, in stainless steel and brass.
With an enquiry, give the tube outside diameter, wall thickness and material. Mixing metric and fractional sizes, or tube and fitting materials, is the most common cause of leaks in instrument lines, so both are confirmed before supply.
