About the barred tee
A barred tee is a standard tee with a steel bar or grid welded across the branch opening internally. The bar stops pipeline inspection gauges (pigs) from entering the branch, keeping them on the main run line in pig-able (piggable) pipeline systems.

Covers the full range of industrial butt weld fittings (elbows, tees, reducers, caps, returns) in carbon steel, alloy steel, and stainless steel from ½" to 48" NB.
- Applies to NPS ½" through 48" (DN 15 through DN 1200)
- Schedule wall: STD / XS / XXS plus full SCH range
- Radius: Long Radius (LR) 1.5D and Short Radius (SR) 1.0D elbows
- Dimensional tables are the only source of 'legal' wall thickness
- No pressure-temperature rating: use ASME B31.3 / B31.1 with pipe schedule
